Soheir Fouzat (Director): ​
Poet and writer, Soheir is Canadian of Syrian origin. She holds a B. A. in Arabic Language and
Literature from Damascus University, 2006.
Cofounder of A l’espace-Syrie, an NGO devoted to Creative Aspects of Music, Language and Fine Arts
and intercultural dialog.
Since 2014, she is a teacher of Arabic language, both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and
  • Levantine dialects.
  • Since 2017, she is the Director and owner of the Canadian Exchange Language Center in Montréal (CELC).
Her published works include:
"A shadow’s Alphabet", Damascus, (2009), a poetry collection as a poetry dialog with the artist Adham
Bozart.
"A Sky from Women's ash" (2013) a poetry collection published, award of Ghassan Kanafani in
Montréal.

Salah Elkhalfa Beddiari (Founder):

Neo-Canadian, neo-Quebecois poet and writer of Algerian origin, SEK Beddiari is an ex-professor of physics and chemistry. In 1998 he founded the Montreal Canadian Language Exchange Center and was a founding member of "Passerelle" ( a literary organization) in 2001. In 2012, he launched the publishing house Beroaf.
His published works include: Remembrance of the Sun (2000) and Song of Love for the Summer (2001), works of poetry published by Editions de l'Hexagone in Montreal; "Write against racism" (2003), a collection of essays published by Les 400 coups in Montreal; the novel The Player (2013) and poetry Adel the Semite or the Spring Eclipse (2014) by Beroaf Publishing House in Montreal; the prose poem story Adel, the Migrating Apprentice (2017), published by Editions Mémoire d'encrier; and several texts in specialized magazines such as Exit, Moebus, Art Le Sabord.
